Alexander (Aly) Kayne serves as the Chief Legal Officer for CarepathRx. Prior to joining CarepathRx, Mr. Kayne served as Deputy General Counsel at Optum, where he provided counsel to the entire OptumRx pharmacy care services division, including all of OptumRx’s pharmacy businesses. Prior to Optum, Mr. Kayne worked at Genoa Healthcare as its Executive Vice President & General Counsel, where he advised on all corporate matters, litigation, regulatory issues, compliance and mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. Kayne also served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Omnicare, Inc., where he advised the CEO, management and the board of directors on all corporate governance and securities law matters. Before joining Omnicare, Mr. Kayne was a partner with Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP in its New York office. At Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP, he represented companies from healthcare, banking, insurance and energy, focusing primarily on complex commercial and securities cases in federal and state courts.

Mr. Kayne earned his J.D. from Yale Law School where he also served as Editor of the Yale Law Journal.

In 2014, Mr. Kayne was recognized by NYSE Governance Services’ Corporate Board Member publication as one of the elite “General Counsel to Watch,” identifying the industry’s most distinguished and respected chief legal officers.
